holy fuck, that's a solid track

well, they got their wish. they're raison d'etre fnar fnar, inspiring someone to be offended when they were promoted as part of sydney festival

it's brilliant in a way, an artwork in itself, their name

i can barely say it on the radio if i've played them, along with fuck buttons, they make life hard for an announcer, but holy fuck have become one of my joint album(s) of 2010

latin, featuring this:

and 55 cadillac, featuring this:

are my two.

you heard me. albums of the year :)

awk & holy fuck

and for memory and something that possibly combines the energy of the two, is this amazing old track from 2003 (that's 8 years now or something like that)...

belated friday

sadly a power short in the room of the unknown listener knocked out my internet last night, so no Friday Pop update, but I thought I'd pop in and post two of the most endearing tracks I've put on my new car listener.

first, something from that amazing triple CD by magnetic fields - 69 love songs

and my favourite from andrew wk's genre-destroying album of solo piano improvisations, 55 cadillac

love
