featuring the actor peter fenton, formerly singer/songwriter with sydney band Crow, and star of the 1998 film of the award-winning novel Praise by Andrew McGahan, which years later, lives on in my mind as a gritty f**k of a novel

the john steel singers are a six-piece from brisbane (on mess+noise)

a sweet little folky pop song, this, but vaguely grim in its subject



hope they get booked for some nice summer festival... :)
