while i process the sum total of my responses to the meredith music festival, here is someone who played far too late for me to get to hear , but captured my heart with one track

the digital invisible
seems strange to believe in a modern world that a CD could be a total non-entity on the www.
but after hearing and loving track #8 on a CD "Jardins Cycliques" (LY 01) on Lycaon records, of compositions performed by a pianist by the name of Frédéric Lagnau, including some of his own works, and failing to find any reference to the CD label or the CD itself, i had to conclude that it must be possible.
a search for lagnau himself turned up a search result on the site that is dedicated to "promoting french cinema worldwide"
http://en.unifrance.org/directories/person/320360/frederic-lagnau/filmography
anyway, this is just my kind of piano music.
minimalist and beautifully performed. don't know how to suggest anyone goes about getting a copy but some of his music has been posted on youtube, including this (which is more fully orchestrated, but still very pretty):
Réalisation Eric Margolis - Musique Frédéric Lagnau
écouter et apprécier
