jesu, you've been pitchforkd

heard something amazing on skullcave (fridays, triple r, drivetime)

it was by a guy who has been in godflesh, amongst other things, and releases solo music under the moniker of jesu

it was from an ep called opiate sun

the title track, was what i heard

i kept turning it up and up and up on my little ford's car stereo

reviewed here, on pitchfork, in august of this year

released on a label with the rather beautiful name of caldo verde "a popular soup of Portuguese and Brazilian cuisine" :)

which i think would be an excellent partner to the music written by ramin djawadi, the iranian-german soundtrack composer's work for iron man

and two things i would strongly consider buying

to have and to hold

forever
