it's been raining phlegm in the room of the unknown listener this past week, but it's clearing now so i thought i'd pop in a quick post about three new records that i bought with a gift voucher i got given for my birthday.
true to my wish list i got:
tarot sport by the fuck buttons (awesome...)
em are i by jeffrey lewis (which really only has two or three truly lovable tracks)
and FINALLY
cadillac 55 by andrew wk, a cd of "spontaneous solo piano improvisations" and somewhere between bach, american pastoral composition and awk's energy pop is the album of sheer bloody genius i always hoped it would be
and someone has gone and posted a track from the album on youtube
so after all that wishing and wondering, it's nice to see that that's what i spend my money on when i have some
